Sam Watson

RUNNING BACK / LINEBACKER COACH

Coach Sam Watson enters his 12th season with the football program. He is a 2008 Sturgis graduate and went on to play football at Olivet College.

During his tenure of coaching at Sturgis, Coach Watson has been in charge of coaching the running backs and linebackers. Over the years he has coached All Conference linebackers Rylee Cain, Connor Strudwick (Tulsa University), and Tyler Cain. Coach Watson is the SRO Officer for SPS and resides in Sturgis with his wife Krystal and their two children.
